Thanks to donors like you, the National Council of Dementia Minds (NCDM) delivers groundbreaking person-centered education, tools and support to empower people to live well with dementia—with meaning, purpose, connection and joy.

Dementia stigma is so widespread that a diagnosis of dementia can quickly eclipse an individual’s perceived personhood. NCDM counters this stigma by showcasing real people living well with dementia, demonstrating that we’re not just surviving—we’re thriving!

At the heart of our work is our national corps of Dementia Minds groups—composed of persons living with dementia—who foster education and dialogue among individuals with dementia, care partners, healthcare providers, researchers and policymakers. In addition to providing peer support for each other, our Dementia Minds groups create practical resources and provide education led by persons living with dementia to support individuals and families impacted by dementia or mild cognitive impairment everywhere.

Since our inception in 2019, our Dementia Minds groups have provided educational opportunities to tens of thousands of people across all 50 states and 14 countries—all at no cost to participants.

We rely on donors like you to provide these services.

We need your help now more than ever. As more and more individuals seek our support, our waiting list is growing. Your donation will help NCDM expand our groups and our free educational resources for individuals with dementia, families and care partners.

Every mind matters, and dollar counts. We welcome donations online or by check. If donating by check, please make checks payable to "National Council of Dementia Minds" and mail to: National Council of Dementia Minds, PO Box 74, Owosso, MI 48867
